Be my Valentine!
Ethan is maturing beautifully, receiving an excellent education, and available for adoption from Helping Hearts Equine Rescue, Inc.
Currently standing 13.2h, Ethan was foaled at the rescue on 12/8/13, and was born with his unique "elfin" ear. In the fall of 2016, the rescue started his introduction to saddle and bridle, and continues to do short training sessions as time permits. Because he grew up at a busy farm with consistent, caring handling, Ethan has a very nice foundation and enjoys interaction with people. From donkeys to draft horses, he's friends with everyone. He is athletic and has the potential to be a lovely riding pony.
We're guessing he will mature to large pony size. No way to know for sure as we have no idea who Dad was. Cassidy, his mom, was a 13.2'ish Haflinger mare.
Adoption Fee: $750
HHER Policy: Due to their special needs, babies and untrained youngsters will only be adopted to persons with a minimum of 3 current years horse experience in ownership, handling, horse management. Thank You for your understanding - - youngsters can have difficult lives ahead of them if they receive the wrong handling and training during their 'formative' years. Additionally, please note that HHER"s contracts stipulate that youngsters shall NOT be backed/started under saddle prior to 3 yrs of age.
Ethan: Strong and Optimistic; Solid and Enduring.
Ethan was born between 2 - 5 on December 8, 2013. He's strong and nursing well. He's adorable and sweet. A big boy, who is not going to be able to scoot under Momma's belly. Not even for a day or two.
Thank You Sarah K. Andrew for coming out and photographing Ethan when he was 3 Days Old.
